Bryson Studios is based in Woodside, California - 30 miles south of San Francisco. Sandra Wong, Proprietor of Bryson Studios, is a San Francisco native and former corporate event planner, who started designing her Purse Box Collection in 2003 after she left corporate life. As an event planner, it was always fun and a challenge to find the perfect gift for an event, whether it was shopping for one or for thousands. She also believed it was essential that the gift packaging be as clever and unique as the gift itself.
It was this belief and Sandra's passion for fine stationery that led her to design stylish favors for a girlfriend who was planning a baby shower. Sandra created the miniature purses made of custom designed cardstock in patterns and shades of pink - the theme of the shower. To add an element of surprise, a sterling silver charm, carefully selected to match the personalities of each guest, was placed into individual purses. The clever favors were a big hit! It was then that Sandra discovered her niche and took her purse box collection door to door to local merchants. Within four months, the Bryson Studios Purse Box Collection was in over half a dozen gift boutiques.
What began as a personal project has blossomed into a full-time business for Sandra. Each purse is a labor of love. Sandra uses only quality materials to create these clever favors, such as imported cardstock, fine Czech Republic beads, and 100% sterling silver charms. With the help of her mother, Nina, the mother-daughter team assembles everything - from cutting cardstock and beading handles, to packaging the purses for each order.
Founded in 2003, Bryson Studios is the sole provider of the unique and creative Studio Purse Box Collection. The collection offers whimsical sterling silver charms specially packaged in chic mini purse boxes. Each purse is handcrafted from fine stationary and is embellished with a beaded handle. About The Artist
Sandra Wong, Proprietor of Bryson Studios, is a self-taught artist from the San Francisco Bay Area who has a passion for everything creative. Before launching Bryson Studios, Sandra was Senior Event Planner at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. in the Silicon Valley for more than seven years where she coordinated high level meetings and events for the Executive Management Team.
In June 2003, Sandra decided to leave corporate life and pursue the dream of owning her own business. Her company, Bryson Studios, currently sells its handcrafted products at select fine gift boutiques worldwide. In addition to production, Sandra manages all aspects of the business including sales, marketing and public relations.
Sandra holds a Liberal Arts degree from the University of California, Davis. She has also received a Certificate of Completion from The Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants, a nationally accredited training and certification program for wedding professionals.
